Hey everyone! I know I haven't done a style shoot in almost exactly a <a href="http://thecwaftyblog.blogspot.com/2015/02/style-saturday-all-black-and-red.html">year</a>... But I promise, a lot more will be forth coming. </div>

Last weekend the weather was surprisingly nice and a couple of friends and I went downtown to explore, this is what I wore! I got waaaaay too many looks and a lot of compliments on this outfit. <br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
I don't usually paint my nails (too used to working in food service) but I went all out this time. I used a two step polish by Revlon called Moon Candy in Satellite. Too cute. Plus I matched the rocks!<br />

This jacket might be my best thrift store score yet. A custom made ('cept not for me) genuine leather jacket in my absolute favorite color, retails for $300+. I snagged it for $40, or should I say my mom snagged it because I was flat broke at the time. Thanks, Mom.<br />

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I've been on a mug making kick lately thanks to Dishwasher safe Mod Podge and this project I have for you today is another A+ if I say so myself! I love the look of those chalky heart candies (a lot more than I like eating them) and when I saw sticker versions at work I knew what I had to do.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7QqBGIb_vaoNPj0kjOzbS8hh9S-xFoCY9W0qWmaHxnzfSunFMS_JD2VT-GLGXhC87Br11kn7GKwJCv80O4t2BSpgfn_ZGLhYmp7zlAUSPT26g0VXNNH3iLIlPhEoSzTXaHCw0FS_obNQ/s1600/allaroundmug.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7QqBGIb_vaoNPj0kjOzbS8hh9S-xFoCY9W0qWmaHxnzfSunFMS_JD2VT-GLGXhC87Br11kn7GKwJCv80O4t2BSpgfn_ZGLhYmp7zlAUSPT26g0VXNNH3iLIlPhEoSzTXaHCw0FS_obNQ/s1600/allaroundmug.gif" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Although it's a little late to get one done in time for this V-Day, you could always start early for next year! <br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Supplies:</span><br />
<ol>
<li><a data-mce-href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7du_LNvUrflZF9TdlY2cnp5UHM/view?usp=sharing" href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7du_LNvUrflZF9TdlY2cnp5UHM/view?usp=sharing">This template</a> (must be printed from laser printer)</li>
<li>Mug</li>
<li>Conversation heart stickers (or small paper ones)</li>
<li>Dishwasher-safe Mod Podge</li>
<li>Foam brush</li>
<li>Scissors </li>
<li>Rubbing alcohol</li>
<li>Cotton ball </li>
</ol>
<br />
<b>Step 1: </b>Clean your mug with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. Once your surface is clean and dry arrange your stickers on the mug. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC5kUXyGpuSnKuFhwzveKpfwF7Ieg3-FmEFotMgduDCyacTluWYCtRrsWgd_smvADXfdtnAztkg76hpxNzdNpmuwoFLpd5w6TqXGJVHKHekqht64VIfsJy4CigE9rNfMXH_K8RjugsdEU/s1600/applystickers.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC5kUXyGpuSnKuFhwzveKpfwF7Ieg3-FmEFotMgduDCyacTluWYCtRrsWgd_smvADXfdtnAztkg76hpxNzdNpmuwoFLpd5w6TqXGJVHKHekqht64VIfsJy4CigE9rNfMXH_K8RjugsdEU/s1600/applystickers.png" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Mod Podge over them when all the hearts are in place.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5zPgjF6CKS2Bj6w4aUuewKeOVCRZRz1SquCitIc1qgh_L5KXte59R4_cNFfyMJpgF-QdC7-TAIvHHjfvoo_jDfcHvZhiU-JEJ11GwCg1HITemc5QuFI2jxcDl1kCkEhqn9vkbUtviUZA/s1600/podgeit.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5zPgjF6CKS2Bj6w4aUuewKeOVCRZRz1SquCitIc1qgh_L5KXte59R4_cNFfyMJpgF-QdC7-TAIvHHjfvoo_jDfcHvZhiU-JEJ11GwCg1HITemc5QuFI2jxcDl1kCkEhqn9vkbUtviUZA/s1600/podgeit.png" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<b>Step 2: </b>Cut out your heart you'd like to use as the "centerpiece" of the mug. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggnNoFOC7xAd6OYrnWRip30fYtRceRtTZ5ACIluqDGLN_202GMdUNUtjxi8_tJ1Btf2G79i1vcW3hUL3TN48dCgz3L-OtL4ASzbTFheeeRHOl0KyOK9dzSwIY6siCvkFtty6zSzWS2mqk/s1600/cuttemplate.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggnNoFOC7xAd6OYrnWRip30fYtRceRtTZ5ACIluqDGLN_202GMdUNUtjxi8_tJ1Btf2G79i1vcW3hUL3TN48dCgz3L-OtL4ASzbTFheeeRHOl0KyOK9dzSwIY6siCvkFtty6zSzWS2mqk/s1600/cuttemplate.png" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<b><br />
</b><br />
Apply Mod Podge to the back of your heart. Apply it to the mug and make sure to do it smoothly so no air bubbles are trapped. Also make sure all the edges of the heart are firmly pressed down or else water could get inside and ruin the heart/whole mug.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjutm4d3xn-OAil8edtSTdhR4I3bazOYF4wsbQ3d3ZnpmGY6Zq9oldSVTyfnBO2pn9OQdPWizUk-IEqOkil-jQuCEBgQKinqU_KJJIpGA5bochIj_Bkq8N_BBF6G0mMHokRHnsUxjcK2wY/s1600/podgemainheart.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjutm4d3xn-OAil8edtSTdhR4I3bazOYF4wsbQ3d3ZnpmGY6Zq9oldSVTyfnBO2pn9OQdPWizUk-IEqOkil-jQuCEBgQKinqU_KJJIpGA5bochIj_Bkq8N_BBF6G0mMHokRHnsUxjcK2wY/s1600/podgemainheart.png" /></a></div>
<b></b><br />
Gently apply a top layer of Mod Podge over the front of the heart. Don't scrub with your brush or else the color may come off. The color won't smear due to it being laser printed, but I used regular thin printer paper and it behaved as such when wet.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRB00pvG2cZ0vteSnffz2-wjmfxn6isJZk7Tlr9whA1Wluq_IHfHQ4Vjgtcan7Qbc3qb-JZ3P4KL_dsiEgH_Hzq3hJOKJmjZtzzmLfv9-JHzCYSfyHkyhzCaYAn35XSTUcfIVuAoJoUDM/s1600/podgeheart.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRB00pvG2cZ0vteSnffz2-wjmfxn6isJZk7Tlr9whA1Wluq_IHfHQ4Vjgtcan7Qbc3qb-JZ3P4KL_dsiEgH_Hzq3hJOKJmjZtzzmLfv9-JHzCYSfyHkyhzCaYAn35XSTUcfIVuAoJoUDM/s1600/podgeheart.png" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Now it's just a waiting process! Dishwasher safe mod podge requires 30 days of curing so mark your calendars! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Although I like having the big heart on the front as a focus I think a mug made completely with the small hearts would be adorable too!</div>

Oliver wanted to get in on the holiday fun. Since he's an ex-feral he pretty much tries to eat anything and the candy hearts were no exception. This was his face after licking one though. No bueno says Ollie. <br />

New year, new goals for the blog; for example, actually posting! I utilized my winter break off from college to get a lot of tutorials brainstormed, started (w.i.p.), and even a few finished. I drank a small lakes worth of coffee but I think this year is set to be a good one for The Cwafty Blog! More good news is I also got an extra post a month over at Dream A Little Bigger, so you're going to be seeing a lot more tutorials and content from me in general!<br />

Christmas break has me on a roll ladies and gentlemen! Today I have a little collaboration between Gap/Darby Smart and it's designers. Darby Smart teamed up with Gap to create this DIY Gift Wrap kit. As a designer I was given one and told to get creative to inspire others. Can do!<br />

<ul>
<li>Kraft Paper</li>
<li>Gold Sharpie</li>
<li>Silver Marker</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<b>Step 1: </b>Use your gold sharpie to begin to doodle a long curvy, squiggly line. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL2sxJxwg6Xj-MmmB-b1Ig62ZSvs4Bbp74Jg9FRcVFvQ_bYwgJH6gesxk18Br7Bgl93nb_mm96SHkaX12YH1m4ueoozBtgoRf1Fi1eeJFbJU6u4HxFd7W-YETXwaZs8PiWrfPL-hmOLyA/s1600/step1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL2sxJxwg6Xj-MmmB-b1Ig62ZSvs4Bbp74Jg9FRcVFvQ_bYwgJH6gesxk18Br7Bgl93nb_mm96SHkaX12YH1m4ueoozBtgoRf1Fi1eeJFbJU6u4HxFd7W-YETXwaZs8PiWrfPL-hmOLyA/s1600/step1.png" /></a></div>
<br />
<b>Step 2: </b>Draw lots of little rectangles coming off the squiggly line, alternating inward and outward facing rectangles. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGQlaq0aSUY2r4vL1iSl0bltcaNwOnq7-q8QRuPFPwdeIwnwKo2l6R31ULzHcjakhD09OuX601P9yg55N8BW4VqOozppIOf97NpLyhQzykDCJ9WOgMyGmegFXacFZ_IXSZrxow-PEYtjw/s1600/step2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGQlaq0aSUY2r4vL1iSl0bltcaNwOnq7-q8QRuPFPwdeIwnwKo2l6R31ULzHcjakhD09OuX601P9yg55N8BW4VqOozppIOf97NpLyhQzykDCJ9WOgMyGmegFXacFZ_IXSZrxow-PEYtjw/s1600/step2.png" /></a></div>
<br />
<b>Step 3: </b>Use your silver marker included in the kit to draw Christmas bulb shapes (a pointy, almond-ish shape) coming out of the rectangles. My sizes varied but it's hand drawn, who's gonna complain? <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-ATTqI6fHf5TGGkhD3Jxgz00FPZkhPHGrLeCIzYuDzl4HhxJRJFn5RWYGRnRx8RYIAg8NeC6n_paWpdtaa7IZJgLr6tr5-461upif55CIMvZZuRw0Exqp_EsAp1B0qzZhuFURYXVIeJo/s1600/step3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-ATTqI6fHf5TGGkhD3Jxgz00FPZkhPHGrLeCIzYuDzl4HhxJRJFn5RWYGRnRx8RYIAg8NeC6n_paWpdtaa7IZJgLr6tr5-461upif55CIMvZZuRw0Exqp_EsAp1B0qzZhuFURYXVIeJo/s1600/step3.png" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtHQRn0cx_U974gshy0NLRvyS6WgQLutPZcWO7KpSU61EqodXJNiRB_ZJjyXvtJ1TdErk6GxgH5Qidew70v_DGJ3XhAvQu8UrkATOMwQ9hQgaRns3R_Rk8rspDUG2V5LhOyvwt7jfnjGU/s1600/done.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtHQRn0cx_U974gshy0NLRvyS6WgQLutPZcWO7KpSU61EqodXJNiRB_ZJjyXvtJ1TdErk6GxgH5Qidew70v_DGJ3XhAvQu8UrkATOMwQ9hQgaRns3R_Rk8rspDUG2V5LhOyvwt7jfnjGU/s1600/done.png" /></a></div>
<br />
Continue until your whole paper is full! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij1C7PEKiywXXazjBMbxPJXLK78lbzpHUUh5E-byhWyx_6wuo_FHSegIeHlpFFo_7neRao21b5L2Qbl_rEca2dCSddPSi_j-VAhJpVxDxzW9KyVho9dub3CUlLqHW2coAjMpasWzXbB9Y/s1600/fullview.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij1C7PEKiywXXazjBMbxPJXLK78lbzpHUUh5E-byhWyx_6wuo_FHSegIeHlpFFo_7neRao21b5L2Qbl_rEca2dCSddPSi_j-VAhJpVxDxzW9KyVho9dub3CUlLqHW2coAjMpasWzXbB9Y/s1600/fullview.png" /></a></div>
<br />
Then wrap with it! I decorated one of the wooden tags to match my theme. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxHsjXwdVz47FUMG831kT1ZEFpsFuvMcMRYGZAhkPRWnNr-hNa_hOV8EzDtvU3O0mg6Svpz3tCwLIlfW44RR7OnKZTYNatMsEw9ZM7cn8RKZ_524HkE-pCyT5JHwcjQjAEgo2wN6cQFLo/s1600/finaletag.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxHsjXwdVz47FUMG831kT1ZEFpsFuvMcMRYGZAhkPRWnNr-hNa_hOV8EzDtvU3O0mg6Svpz3tCwLIlfW44RR7OnKZTYNatMsEw9ZM7cn8RKZ_524HkE-pCyT5JHwcjQjAEgo2wN6cQFLo/s1600/finaletag.png" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
After making the tag I fell in love with the idea of the glittery bulb so I made 2 for the ends of my bow and emphasized a few bulbs on the front of the package.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBd1qNqjve4ZgT7KCU3IhWVO_7blnbihGcqz85NuTzCgSqLnmVfPnKbl0KClyr0wsfPxE_gl9q66teX7HxzJIujPPwU68AXalGoJLzrG3S5hO2wRnRBpp9w-qBR1AeR57MoYBdsbZQ08M/s1600/finale.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBd1qNqjve4ZgT7KCU3IhWVO_7blnbihGcqz85NuTzCgSqLnmVfPnKbl0KClyr0wsfPxE_gl9q66teX7HxzJIujPPwU68AXalGoJLzrG3S5hO2wRnRBpp9w-qBR1AeR57MoYBdsbZQ08M/s1600/finale.png" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />Hope that helps if you need some last-minute wrapping ideas! I've been obsessed with Christmas lights this season, so of course I incorporated them into my presents as well. <br /><br />Have a Merry Christmas!<br />

About 2 months ago I got a job at a party store. Working there has been amazing. Even though I loved working in pizza this has been the most fun I've had at a job. Blowing up balloons, decorating the store, and getting to dress up everyday we're not really things I ever expected to be paid for. It's given me a whole new appreciation for holidays.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Let me tell you, it has been an endeavor! I finally think I got it right though and it feels fantastic to get it off of my shelf of unfinished projects. <br />

Who doesn't love silver and white during the winter season? You can keep this wreath up past Christmas because it's more seasonal than holiday-based. <br />

This tutorial was so much fun to make. I was inspired by those paper-cut start lanterns your favorite English teacher turned on when it was reading time, or that your local eccentricities shop may carry.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

You can't possibly mess up as much as I did (I picked beads that we're incompatible, to start off) because I'm warning you. Other than that this project is almost too easy to mess up! AND it's super cute!<br />

He and my mother have both been graced with my handmade birthday/ fathers/mothersday cards as far back as I can remember and that's not likely to change anytime soon. I think this is the first year I've actually stepped my game up and made it look more like a professionally made, almost store bought card though. <br />

Long time, no talk! I have missed you all incredibly over the break and I literally have had one of the worst summers of my life. My work horror stories would make you pee yourself laughing, scratch your head at the stupidity of people, and keep you up at night. We are moving past that though, maybe I'll write about it in the future but for now it suffices to say things have been on the upswing for at least a month now. <br /><br /><br />

I started college a few weeks ago and my class line up is great! Creative Writing, Printmaking 1, Drawing 1, and Small Business Management. I'm enjoying all of my classes thoroughly and feel like I'm benefiting from being in them already, which brings me to the point of this post; I'm having a business midlife crisis! I've been working on this thing for 5-6 years now and looking back...I'd like to change somethings...maybe, I'm not sure. How do you feel?<br />

Please let me know by answering<a href="http://goo.gl/forms/TdVcpAvQ3s"> this survey</a>! You will have my undying love and gratitude.<br />

</div>
Hey guys! It's that time of the year again, I'm heading off to college again and once more I'm super excited about the classes I'm in. I've got creative writing, printmaking 1, drawing 1, and a small business management class. All of those have real life applications, or at least to my life. Ah, being a blogger is great!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTT8NMjp-WWxbGx2mhg1kgY2yIoMBeyXEeR0EKoFSpVxOphKLvHoCi3mvrRvPf4lOFW50xdHRLIkm8Kkp3BRkjotdsX_uSC9lcjhVEptQwPF3QzSY26-91VFQxpOWg68-cuu0kWJqkFEc/s1600/finalecw.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTT8NMjp-WWxbGx2mhg1kgY2yIoMBeyXEeR0EKoFSpVxOphKLvHoCi3mvrRvPf4lOFW50xdHRLIkm8Kkp3BRkjotdsX_uSC9lcjhVEptQwPF3QzSY26-91VFQxpOWg68-cuu0kWJqkFEc/s1600/finalecw.png" /></a></div>
<br />
Every thing I do for my creative writing class is going to be contained within this composition book so I thought I'd make it a little more cute. I tried to retain the key features of a comp. book's design; patterned cover, nameplate, tape binding. <br />

This week in RaChil news: I've got a summer head cold guys. I feel like poo but I persevered and whipped this project up that's been bouncing around in my head for a while. Originally it was going to be a set of windchimes but I couldn't ever get my hands on any chime pieces.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj0fg4fwWgwwCJ5K5RAK7aM51Figm_Lf8TYRle2BjdMk3BtMKwdwo2H_OkcdoWcMtEzq-NCE88tVr2LW47q0Kgxd_nL-6qEaIIbdpXSZli1U4UpkUOhhyphenhyphenFP700Qawl0mf0Qw0s1XmJBtQ/s1600/finalecw.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj0fg4fwWgwwCJ5K5RAK7aM51Figm_Lf8TYRle2BjdMk3BtMKwdwo2H_OkcdoWcMtEzq-NCE88tVr2LW47q0Kgxd_nL-6qEaIIbdpXSZli1U4UpkUOhhyphenhyphenFP700Qawl0mf0Qw0s1XmJBtQ/s1600/finalecw.png" /></a></div>

I think I prefer it silent though, or with just a gentle wood sound if the spools do happen to bounce together. <br />

<br />I got a haircut the other day guys! I'm back to a crazily choppy chin-length bob and like every time I do something new to my hair, I have to discover all the ...limits of said haircut. My hair is currently way to short to put up/back in anyway so I decided to make a bandana without all the fuss of folding and tying<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCl5_QFFTk54fuX2ycTfwSFomzf_0siReVa2YoOSyDMoLgcXDZwJXr_jok7hDAf2XqNPguMf1IOaCRbYjuPZMCG18l7ikwRp_3tSlxdbLL3c9D6FWt4jZ7Rj_OezcV_heljAq99DuKmVo/s1600/finalecw.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCl5_QFFTk54fuX2ycTfwSFomzf_0siReVa2YoOSyDMoLgcXDZwJXr_jok7hDAf2XqNPguMf1IOaCRbYjuPZMCG18l7ikwRp_3tSlxdbLL3c9D6FWt4jZ7Rj_OezcV_heljAq99DuKmVo/s1600/finalecw.png" /></a></div>
<br />
The bandana slides easily onto a headband and keeps all your hair nicely in place, or hides it if you're having an unruly hair day!<br />

I'm getting experimentally crafty this week and trying some new techniques. Of course I'm sharing the results with you guys! I wouldn't be a very good friend if I didn't, would I?<br />

It's sweltering here and work is doubly bad working next to a hot oven all day. If you can bring yourself to get up and make something despite the temperatures I've got the perfect project for you!<br />

The blog has to officially be on hiatus this summer because I am going to be busting my butt at work; I'm managing again. I am still going to be posting occasionally but mostly I'm going to be posting tutorials over at Dream A Little Bigger. That way I still get to be a little creative and share it with the internet (Once you start it's kinda hard to stop. Blogging is addictive!) <br /><br />Anyway, today I am sharing a really cute, quick, effortless looking tutorial. I splatter painted my wallet! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Anywho, earlier this month the geeky community celebrated Star Wars Day on May 4th and I did nothing celebratory because I was swamped with exams and assignments (Which is also why the blog has been so silent, I'm sorry guys! I hope to get back to writing regularly soon) To remedy that I whipped up this cute Death Star Ring!<br />

Does anyone else have a cafe problem? I do. This semester I got stuck having to take classes every day of the week and in doing so I have pretty much wrecked my bank account. Everyday I'd stop at Port City Java or Java Dog for breakfast and a coffee. For the last month or so I've been trying to be more responsible and bring food and drink from home, which is where today's tutorial comes in!<br />
